Beauty of Antarctica in Muzeon
A photographic exhibition "The continent of ice" opened in Muzeon on January, 15. This is exactly the way Russian explorers Fabian Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev called Antarctica when discovered it 200 years ago.
All the photographs are taken by biologist, traveler and member of the Russian Union of Wildlife Photographers Stanislav Zakharov.
Stanislav went on an expedition to Antarctica in 2019. He managed to take photos of rare animals and natural phenomena both under water and on land. According to Stanislav, Antarctica is an enormous and unexplored ecosystem, which hides lots of secrets, and people should do their best to preserve this unique region with its biodiversity.
