Main outcomes of the Russian creative week forum in Gorky park

On August 26 – 29 Gorky Park hosted the second Russian creative week. The forum has siginificantly grown in the number of speakers and the agenda.

The forum was held both offline and online. There were over 300 events on the site, while more than four million people watched broadcasting online.

Among the participants of the forum this year were First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko, Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects Sergey Novikov, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, chairman of the Board of the Russian gas company PJSC Novatek Leonid Mikhelson, director of the V-A-C Foundation Teresa Iarocci Mavica, psychologist, scientific director of the Laboratory of Neurosciences and Human Behavior of PJSC Sberbank Andrey Kurpatov and many others. In total, over 700 speakers took part in the forum, including 40 international guests: Liu Cixin, Matthew Ball, Lars Doucet, Frederik Schreiber, Greg Tkachenko, Guillaume Pitron, Andrew Pettigrew, Elke Schmitter, Francesco Forte and others.

The program of the forum included many interesting and important events for every creative industry. For example, the publishers released a rating of the most popular business literature among Russian entrepreneurs; the students from 20 universities had an opportunity to interview the Minister of Science and Higher Education; amateur musicians presented their recordings directly to music labels: Effective Records, StartUP Music and SOYUZ MUSIC; the producers tried to reconcile TV and digital.
