Bathhouse of Count Orlov

Bathhouse of Count Orlov

Before the revolution, baths were installed in the secluded house, hidden between two hills on the edge of Ekaterininsky Pond, and there was a banya (Russian sauna).

All water was self-flowing into the house, owing to the terrain’s gradient.  In Soviet times, it was home to a beerhouse with the funny name ‘Poplavok’ (float).
