Andreevsky pedestrian bridge

Andreevsky pedestrian bridge

Andreevsky Bridge is based on the railway bridge that was built in 1908, which was a part of the Moscow Little Ring Railway.

The railroad and bridge went virtually unused during Soviet times. Therefore, permission was given in the late twentieth century to move the bridge to Gorky Park. The bridge’s structure was transported to the park on water, and after the modern glass passageway was built, the bridge became a pedestrian one. Now a splendid view of Moscow River and Gorky Park opens out from Andreevsky Bridge.
